At IPLT, Vinit is the key man responsible for developing key partner relations with electric drivetrain specialists, vehicle integration experts and battery cell & pack manufacturers. He also oversees procurements and ensures that IPLT's parts are benchmarked against the best-in-class specifications.

In the past, he has led strategic sourcing with Tata, TVS Group, American Axle, Sona Steering, Graziano Transmission and Best Koki. At Tata, he also conducted a comprehensive supplier audit for process and product improvements which still serves as the gold standard.
